This album is dedicated to the memory of my beloved teacher, mentor, and friend, Joe Murphy. I don’t need to explain his impact on me here because I summed it up pretty well on track 1, a track (and entire album) for which I found it quite diﬃcult to let the dog eat. Eventually, though, I managed to make it happen.
